consider limiting prolonged outdoor exertion.
Synopsis and Discussion
High pressure developing over the region will continue to strengthen the
next few days. With little movement, the Phoenix forecast area can
expect mostly sunny skies, relatively light winds and warmer
temperatures. Afternoon desert temperatures will be in the mid 70s by
Saturday and remain there through at least the middle of next week.
This area of high pressure will also deflect any storms to the north of
Arizona, allowing the region to dry out a bit. All pollutants on
Tuesday were in the "Good" range of the Air Quality Index (AQI).
However, particulate levels will increase steadily each day towards the
middle of the "Moderate" range under this strong ridge of high pressure.
Check back tomorrow for any changes that may be on the horizon. Until
then, have a good day! -J.Paul
