Synopsis and Discussion
Winds will increase once again this afternoon from the northwest as we are now on the backside of the trough of low pressure that moved through the region yesterday. Ozone levels here in the Phoenix forecast area dropped into the "Good" range at most locations, with Cave Creek being the lone "Moderate" site. Valley Particulates did the same with exception for West 43rd which had mid "Moderate" readings for Tuesday. High pressure is expected to build back over the forecast area through early Saturday before the next wind-maker pushes through. This means we can expect mostly sunny skies, lighter winds and afternoon desert temperatures rebounding to around 90°F by Friday. Ozone will likely climb to the low "Moderate" range once again as will Particulates. Check back tomorrow for any changes. Have a good day! -J.Paul
