Health message for Thursday, Apr 12: Unusually sensitive people should
consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.

Synopsis and Discussion
More breezy to marginally windy weather is on the way for the local
forecast area today and Saturday as low-level gradients remain tight
between low pressure to the east and building high pressure from the
west. Strong warming aloft and at the surface due to the high pressure
will be realized by Saturday afternoon and on Sunday afternoon
temperatures are forecast to reach the middle 90's. Hot temperatures,
along with diminishing winds and sunny skies, will set the stage for an
increase in local ozone production by Sunday; readings may exceed the
mid-moderate range of the Air Quality Index at some locations.
Otherwise, air quality is predicted to be relatively good thru the
weekend. -Reith
