Synopsis and Discussion
*A PM2.5 HEALTH WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28,
2007*
The chances for a wet start to the weekend are looking better and better
each day. An area of low pressure off the coast of Baja, Mexico will
continue to slowly move north. With its counter-clockwise rotations,
moisture will begin to move north into Arizona Thursday into Friday.
Clouds will thicken Friday with showers developing Friday afternoon.
Some locally heavy downpours will be possible through Saturday
afternoon. Models show the system moving out Sunday with clearing and
cooler temperatures. Winds are not anticipated to be much of an issue,
so blowing dust in not likely. Depending on how much rain the Phoenix
forecast area sees from this event, Particulate levels may remain low
for an extended period of time. Check back tomorrow for specifics on
this event. Have a good day! -J.Paul
