Synopsis and Discussion

A few more clouds and some gusty evening winds were the parting gifts
left behind by the low pressure system earlier this week that produced
some of the highest PM-10 levels in a couple of months. Thursday
night's disturbance is now lighting up Texas in the way of severe
thunderstorm and tornado warnings. The exact opposite is will be the
rule in the desert southwest through next week as high pressure
strengthens. We will see afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s to low
90s through next Friday under mostly sunny skies and relatively light
winds. This will lead to lower Particulate levels but possibly higher
Ozone levels. This weekend looks great both weather and air
quality-wise. Check back Sunday for next week's outlook. Have a great
weekend! -J.Paul
