Synopsis and Discussion
The last system did a great job cleaning out the Valley air. All pollutants were well in the Good range Saturday, and there shouldnt be much change the next few days. High pressure is strengthening and will control the Valleys weather through Wednesday, but it begins to break down Thursday as yet another strong trough of low pressure approaches the region. Particulates will likely climb slightly each day through Thursday, reaching no higher than the low Moderate range. Afternoon desert temperatures will top out in the mid 70s Tuesday and Wednesday. Fridays system brings with it another chance of Valley showers through mid-day Saturday. It will also drop temperatures into the mid to upper 50s by the weekend. Best of all, the passing cold front will clear the Valley air once again of any accumulating pollution. Bottom line: The Valleys visibility and air quality will be pretty good through next weekend. So enjoy! Have a great week! J.Paul
