[ADEQ Forecasts] ADEQ Extends Ozone High Pollution Advisory through

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has extended an ozone High Pollution Advisory in the Phoenix area through Monday, June 26, 2001.
All people in the Phoenix area, especially those in sensitive populations, including the elderly, young children and anyone with respiratory or other health concerns, are advised to limit exertion and outdoor activity while the High Pollution Advisory is in effect.
Motorists are asked to carpool, ride the bus or use other alternative transportation to and from work and to limit driving during the day. Please refuel your vehicle after 4 p.m. The High Pollution Advisory also alerts businesses to implement their travel-reduction plans.
