The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has extended a particulate matter Health Watch through Tuesday, December 26 in the Phoenix metro area.

Particulate levels are forecast to approach unhealthful levels for people who are sensitive to the effects of air pollution, including people with respiratory illness, the elderly and young children. ADEQ advises people in the Health Watch area to limit outdoor exertion while the Health Watch is in effect.
