Water Quality Specialist - Phoenix/Youngtown


Responsible for coordinating the implementaion of objectives related to
Environmental Compliance within the operation and maintenance portion of
operating locale.  Oversees drinking water, waste water and air quality
scheduling, testing and sampling to ensure company and government
requirements are met.  Recommends treatment procedures for maintaining
approved Water Quality.  Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual
monitoring requirements.  

 

Knowledge of water quality standards on a county, state, and federal
level.   Must have good verbal and written skills and be proficient at
report writing, have good presentation skills, and a good listener.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental
Science or Engineering preferred.  Two (2) to Four (4) years experience
in water and wastewater treatment required.  Ability to obtain Grade I
Operator's License within one year of job appointment.
