REMINDER....  This is a Great Training Opportunity!

 

The Arizona Department of Emergency Management is offering a unique and
FREE training opportunity for Public Works management, Police/Fire/EMS
staff titled "Public Works: Planning for and Responding to a
WMD/Terrorist Event".

 

This course trains public works managers and supervisors in their
critical infrastructure and public services responsibilities and roles
as they relate to a community's preparation and response to a WMD
incident.  After completing the course, participants will be able to
successfully conduct vulnerability assessments of the jurisdiction's
critical infrastructure and facilities and effectively contribute to the
management of a WMD/terrorism incident as a member of the jurisdiction's
Unified Command structure.

 

The class will be held in Avondale on May 13th - 15th.  Registration is
limited to 40 and closes on April 13th, so don't delay, register as soon
as possible.
