**Notice to Public Water Systems & Other Stakeholders**

EPA LT2ESWTR/Stage 2 Data Collection & Tracking

Web Cast Scheduled

On Wednesday, November 14th, ADEQ will sponsor an EPA 2007 Drinking
Water Web cast on Using the Data Collection & Tracking System (DCTS) to
Comply with the LT2ESWTR and Stage 2 DBPR. This is an opportunity for
your Public Water System to learn more about monitoring requirements and
how to use the data tracking system to comply with the new rules.

Deadlines are Coming Up Fast! You should attend if you are a Schedule 3
or 4 PWS that needs to prepare for your Stage 2 or LT2ESWTR monitoring
requirements. Other interested PWSs, laboratory staff, and stakeholders
are also invited to attend.

A Schedule 3 PWS under the LT2 Rule is a PWS that utilizes a surface
water source and serves 10,000 to 49,000 people or is a system that
belongs to a CDS in which the largest system serves 10,000 to 49,000
persons. The first deadline for Schedule 3 systems is January 1, 2008.
These systems must submit either an initial source water monitoring
sample schedule, intent to submit results for grandfathered data, or
intent to install full treatment (at least 5.5-log of treatment for
Cryptosporidium).

A Schedule 4 PWS under the Stage 2 Rule is a CWS or NTNCWS that uses a
chemical disinfectant and serves fewer than 10,000 persons and not
connected to a larger system. The first deadline for Schedule 4 systems
is April 1, 2008. Such systems that did not receive a very small system
waiver must submit either a standard monitoring plan, system specific
study plan, or 40/30 certification request.

The EPA Web cast will be presented at ADEQ, 1110 W. Washington Street,
Room 5100B (5th Floor) from noon to 2 PM. (If there is sufficient
interest, additional Web cast locations throughout the State may be
available.) Attendees will receive two (2) PDH credits for
participation.

Registration is required to reserve your seat and receive handout
materials. Thirty (30) spaces are available. To register for the Web
cast or ask questions, please contact Suzanne Price, ADEQ Drinking Water
