Ultra-Violet Disinfection Basics
Web Cast Scheduled May 24, 2007
On Thursday, May 24th, ADEQ will sponsor an ASDWA Web cast entitled,

technology. See the description below for more details.
The Web cast will be presented at ADEQ, 1110 W. Washington Street,

Topics to be covered:
* The Web cast will introduce the subject and cover the basics
of UV disinfection. It is intended for state engineering staff and other
interested stakeholders.
* Provide a common level of understanding of UV disinfection
principles and practices including how UV disinfection functions, basic
UV equipment, and installation and O&M needs.

help identify situations in which UV could be a competitive treatment
option, especially to meet new treatment requirements for
cryptosporidium under the surface water rules and virus under the Ground

materials for the Web cast. To register for the Web cast, ask questions,
