City of Surprise - Senior Utilities Technician

Operations Division - Water Services Department

Status: Open

Close Date: Monday, August 7, 2006; 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $19.27 per hour

 

Incumbents perform the more complex wastewater treatment operations work
requiring increased technical knowledge of utilities operations. Duties
include: training of lower level technicians and general maintenance
staff, operation of more complex equipment, and optimization of
controls. 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

High School Diploma and G.E.D., and two years of utilities, plant
distribution, collections, and/or laboratory related experience; or, an
equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to
successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those
listed above 

 

CERTIFICATION 

Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license. Grade
2 or 3 Wastewater Treatment and Collections Certification.
