ADEQ has completed the Feasibility Study Work Plan for the Shannon Road/El Camino del Cerro Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund site in Tucson, Arizona.1 The Feasibility Study will identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that should achieve the site’s remedial objectives. It will evaluate them based on the comparison criteria to select a remedy that complies with A.R.S. § 49-282.06.2

Site Information

The Shannon Road/El Camino del Cerro WQARF site consists of contaminated soil and a groundwater plume located in Tucson, Arizona. The approximate plume boundaries are West Rudasill Road to the north, El Camino del Cerro Road to the south, North Moonbrook Road to the east, and North Camino de la Tierra to the west. Site contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethene, trichloroethene, 1,1-dichloroethene, cis-1,2-dichloroethene, and vinyl chloride.
