Laws/Rules

Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) § 41-1056(D), the ADEQ Deputy Director has asked the Governor’s Regulatory Review Council (GRRC) to vote at its October 3 meeting to require review on an accelerated schedule for 38 rules identified for expiration | View List >

These Title 18 Arizona Administrative Code rules would be intentionally expired by not submitting a five-year rule review report by the accelerated deadline determined by the GRRC. If an agency does not file a five-year rule review report with the GRRC for a particular rule by the required deadline, the rule(s) scheduled for review expire on that date.

ADEQ elects not to review these rules and is allowing them to expire under ARS § 41-1056(J), pursuant to Executive Order 2017-02 to eliminate overly burdensome, antiquated, contradictory, redundant or nonessential rules.
