ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the Harrison Road and Millmar Road Dross Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Arizona. The FS Report proposes a remedy that addresses contaminated soil at the site in a manner that achieves compliance with Arizona Revised Statute §49-152 and Arizona Administrative Code R18-7-2 and will achieve the remedial objectives for the use of the affected properties.

Information

The Harrison Road and Millmar Road Dross WQARF site consists of two piles of dross and related contaminated soils located in Tucson. Groundwater is not impacted at the site. The site area is bounded approximately by east Millmar Road to the north, the Pantano Vista Mobile Home Park (MHP) to the south, the private driveway of 9880 East Millmar Road to the east, and the Harrison Hills Wash to the west.

Contaminants of concern at the site are heavy metals including aluminum, antimony, arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead and nickel.
