ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the West Central Phoenix (WCP) North Canal Plume (NCP) Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Phoenix, Arizona. An FS is conducted to identify a reference remedy and alternative remedies that appear to be capable of achieving established remedial objectives and to evaluate them based on comparison criteria to select a remedy.

Information

The WCP NCP WQARF site consists of three plumes located in Phoenix. The plumes are bounded approximately by Indian School Road to the north, Flower Street to the south, Grand Avenue to the east, and 40th Avenue to the west. Contaminants of concern at the site are tetrachloroethene (PCE), trichloroethene (TCE), 1,1-dichloroethene (DCE), and chromium.
