ADEQ has completed the feasibility study (FS) for the Stone Avenue and Grant Road Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Tucson, Arizona. The FS Report proposes a remedy that addresses contaminated soil at the site in a manner that achieves compliance with Arizona Revised Statute §49-152 and Arizona Administrative Code R18-7-2 and will achieve the remedial objectives for the use of the affected properties.

Information

The Stone Avenue and Grant Road WQARF site consists of two areas of soil contamination above Soil Remediation Levels (SRLs) surrounded by PCE and TCE in soil gas above US EPA Vapor Intrusion Screening Levels (VISLs) located in Tucson, Arizona. The extent of soil-gas plume is bounded approximately to the north by West Jacinto Street, to the south by East Sahuaro Street, to the east by North Estrella Avenue and to the west by North Oracle Road. The contaminant of concern at the site is tetrachloroethene (PCE).
