On Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, the public comment period began for the proposed modification of Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) permit (AZ0020249) coverage to the City of Globe for the proposed discharge of up to 1.2 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Pinal Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Pinal Creek in Gila County, Ariz.
