ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Protected Surface Waters to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Utility Source, LLC applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.165 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Flagstaff Meadows Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to an Unnamed wash, tributary to Volunteer Wash, eventual tributary to the Verde Basin in Township 21 N, Range 5 E, Section 36 in Coconino County, Arizona. The Flagstaff Meadows WWTP is a privately-owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Bellemont, Arizona. Sludge from the WWTP is pumped into storage tanks for aeration and settled to dewater. The dewatered sludge is hauled away by an off-site company and disposed of at the Cinder Lakes Landfill.
