PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposed Remedial Objectives Report Available for ChemResearch Facility in Phoenix, Arizona
ADEQ released the proposed Remedial Objectives (RO) report for the ChemResearch Facility located within the West Van Buren Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund (WQARF) site in Phoenix, AZ. Proposed ROs are the clean-up goals determined for a specific site. They were identified based upon information provided during the public meeting and public comment period for the draft remedial investigation (RI) report and any other information received, and consider current and reasonably foreseeable uses of land and waters of the state.
The site contains contaminated groundwater. The site historical contaminants of concern are tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and hexavalent chromium. Approximate site boundaries are West Pima Street to the north, Hilton Avenue to the south, South 11th Avenue to the east, and South 21st Avenue to the west.
