PUBLIC NOTICE | Proposal to Issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit to Northern Arizona University

ADEQ proposes to issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit Number 85727 to Northern Arizona University for the continued operation of boilers, emergency generators, kilns, cooling towers and a paint booth located at Northern Arizona University located in Flagstaff, Arizona. The facility is subject to the requirements of the Federal Clean Air Act, Code of Federal Regulations, Arizona Revised Statute 49-426, and the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 2. The facility emits the following air contaminants: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide (SO2), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), particulate matter of less than 10 microns in diameter (PM10), particulate matter of less than 2.5 microns in diameter (PM2.5) and hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
