Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code, Title 18, Chapter 9, Article 1, the Director of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality intends to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) permit to:

Facility Information

The City of Tombstone applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.25 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Tombstone Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to the San Pedro River in the San Pedro River Basin in Township 19 S, Range 22 E, Section 35, in Cochise County, Arizona. The Tombstone WWTP is a publicly owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Tombstone. Sludge is disposed at an approved landfill.
