Public Notice No. 20-25

Published in: Arizona Business Gazette on Nov. 19, 2020

AZPDES Permit No. AZS000020

ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) permit renewal to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

City of Scottsdale MS4 Phase I
7447 E. Indian School Road, Suite 125
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Facility Information

The City of Scottsdale applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the discharge of pollutants to Waters of the U.S. from Scottsdale’s municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4). The City’s existing permit was issued in 2011, expired 2016, but has been administratively continued pending reissuance of this permit. The permit requires the City to continue to implement and maintain a Stormwater Management Program Plan to include control measures designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable. The permit establishes measurable goals to assess the efficacy of control measure design and implementation.
