ADEQ proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) renewal permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Information

ASARCO LLC Mission Complex applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of stormwater mixed with mine process water and mine drainage from Outfall 003G, and 004I, and watershed drainages from an ephemeral wash with headwaters in the Sierrita Mountains to Outfall 007H. The discharge from the ASARCO Mission Complex to unnamed ephemeral tributaries of the Santa Cruz River (from Tubac Bridge to the Roger Road Waste Water Treatment Plant outfall) in the Santa Cruz River Basin in Township 17 S, Range 13 E, Section 10, in Pima County, Ariz.
