Why do I need an Air Quality Individual Permit?
This permit is used for facilities that do not qualify for a general permit, and covers both class I and class II permits. This permit includes all industrial activities not covered under a general permit, that emit air pollution in excess of the permitting standards and/or that trigger federal requirements. This permit is valid for five years from the date of issuance.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL AIR QUALITY PERMITTEES: If you may need more than one permit to cover your facility operations, you must contact the ADEQ Air Quality Division for evaluation and permitting of your entire facility’s emissions sources.
This listing may not be comprehensive depending upon the specifics of your facility. Additional permits or registrations may be needed, therefore ADEQ recommends you contact the Permit Liaisons (or just ADEQ if we don’t have a list of liaison contacts) if unsure of permit requirements.
