Notice: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) R18-9-A907, the ADEQ Director proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to waters of the U.S. to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

The Entrada del Oro Sewer Company applied for a renewal AZPDES permit for the proposed discharge of up to 0.3 million gallons per day (mgd) of treated domestic wastewater from the Entrada del Oro Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to a tributary of Queen Creek in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 1S, Range 10E, Section 30, in Pinal County, Ariz. The Entrada del Oro WWTP is a privately owned treatment works that receives domestic wastewater from residential and commercial sources in Gold Canyon. Sludge is sent to the Gold Canyon WWTP for further treatment and dewatering before being sent to Butterfield Landfill for final disposal.
