ADEQ has received a Biohazardous Medical Waste Facility Plan Application for WM Healthcare Solutions Inc. to allow the transfer of biohazardous medical waste from a transport vehicle to a refrigerated trailer and then to an ADEQ-approved facility for treatment and disposal.

Biohazardous medical waste is transferred from truck-to-trailer at the WM Healthcare Solutions, Inc. waste storage and transfer facility in Tucson, Ariz. The proposed plan allows the transfer of biohazardous medical waste from licensed biohazardous medical waste transport vehicles to a refrigerated trailer. The biohazardous medical waste is then transported to an ADEQ-approved facility for treatment or disposal.
