Public Notice | Call for Comments on Proposed 2015 Ozone NAAQS Boundary Recommendations Draft Report

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: Proposed State of Arizona Air Monitoring Network Plan for the Year 2016

Notice: The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ)opens a 30‐day public comment period on May, 31, 2016, for the proposed 2015 Ozone NAAQS Boundary recommendations Draft Report. The draft recommendations propose areas for nonattainment and attainment/unclassifiable designations throughout the state for the 70 ppb 2015 Ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).

Comments: Comments may be mailed, faxed, or emailed to Heidi Haggerty, Air Quality Division, State Implementation Plan Section, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, 1110 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007, fax (602) 771-2234, email Comments must be received by ADEQ no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 1, 2016, or submitted at the public hearing.

Public Hearing: A public hearing on the proposed 2015 Ozone NAAQS Boundary Recommendation Draft Report will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016, in the ADEQ building, Room 3175, at 1110 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007. Interested persons are invited to attend and express their verbal and/or written views. Please make requests early to allow sufficient time to arrange appropriate accommodations.
