Public Notice No. 16-73

Published in: Record Reporter on Thursday, May 26, 2016

Notice Read the Following: Pursuant to the Clean Water Act and in accordance with §40 CFR 131, §40 CFR 25, and Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R18-9-A907, the Director of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) proposes to issue an Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit to discharge pollutants to Waters of the United States to the following applicant, subject to certain effluent limitations and special conditions:

Facility Name: AZPDES Permit No. AZ0025313
Town of Buckeye – Central Buckeye Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
423 Arizona Eastern Avenue
Buckeye, AZ 85326

Facility Location: The Town of Buckeye applied for a major modification to their AZPDES permit for the Central Buckeye WWTP to include two additional outfalls (003 and 004) from the facility to the Roosevelt Irrigation District (RID) Canal and Buckeye Canal, in the Middle Gila River Basin in Township 1 N, Range 3W, Section 13 and 35, in Maricopa County, Arizona.
