Advantages of Membership

Participants in the Arizona Performance Track program will receive benefits in recognition of their commitment to environmental protection.
  • Reduced Inspection Frequency - Provided frequency is not prescribed by law; members conduct self-inspections; and violations discovered are reported to the ADEQ
  • Advance Notice of Enforcement - 24 hours before issuance
  • Enforcement Discretion for Non-significant Violations - Provided violations are self-disclosed and resolved by the member
  • Notice Prior to an Inspection - 24 hours before inspection
  • Consolidation of Reports - where possible
  • Public Recognition
  • Permit Flexibility - where possible
  • Reduction in Reporting Requirements - where possible
  • Participation in Pilot Projects to Reduce Regulatory Burdens- when possible
  • Multi-media Inspections and Permitting - when possible
  • Participation in Developing Future Benefits - when possible
  • Site Visits - The Participating Departments will conduct program site visits at a limited number of Performance Track facilities each year. These site visits are not compliance inspections. The purpose of the visit will be to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. More detailed information will be provided to all participants in advance of making site visits.
