Forecast Discussion:

High pressure will hold sway over Arizona today, and even into tomorrow. But, the latter half of the week will feature a couple of low-pressure waves impacting the state. Today and Tuesday will thus be the warmest days of the week, followed by a cooling trend brought on by the more active weather. Moreover, given the time of the year, the coming waves will be on the drier side; so, skies will remain mostly sunny, and any precipitation will be out of the question (at least through Friday).

In regards to ozone, ozone levels have been consistently landing in the Moderate AQI category in Prescott this month. In fact, there have only been four days when ozone was not in the Moderate AQI category. Looking ahead, ozone is forecast in the Moderate AQI category today and Tuesday, but the stronger winds later in the week are expected to help disperse ozone. But we'll keep our eye on ozone trends!

Check back tomorrow for the latest!
