PUBLIC HEARING | Issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit No. 67001 to Rosemont Copper Company

ADEQ is holding this public hearing to discuss the proposal to issue Air Quality Control Renewal Permit No. 67001 to Rosemont Copper Company for the construction and operation of an open pit copper mine facility located in Pima County, Ariz. The hearing will be on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the Corona Foothills Middle School in Corona De Tucson, Ariz.

ADEQ is offering this no-cost Class A/B operator training to help underground storage tank (UST) owners and operators meet requirements and ensure UST systems are properly managed. 

Topics include:

  • Rule updates, including equiment upgrade and testing requirements
  • What to expect when being inspected
  • Available ADEQ programs to aid UST owners

There will also be an opportunity to meet state regulators, who will be available to answer questions.
