 ENGINEERING REVIEW: APPLICATION PROCESSING TIMES

All applications (Type 4 General Permit, Drinking Water Systems, and Subdivision) are subject to Licensing Time Frames (A.A.C. R18-1-525), which limits the number of business days ADEQ can review your project without a penalty. The Licensing Time Frames are summarized in the tables below.

NOTES:

  1. Licensing Time Frames and licensing processes are defined in A.A.C. Title 18, Chapter 1, Article 5 (Leaving ADEQ Web site). These are the number of days (business days excluding Sat, Sun, and all State holidays) that the agency has to process the application and come to a final decision. The counting of days may be stopped for requesting additional information from the applicant. The source of License Types and number of days is from R18-1 Article 5 published June 29th, 2007.
  2. Each request for an alternative design, installation, or operational feature under A.A.C. R18-9-A312(G) to a Type 4 General Permit adds eight business days to the substantive review time-frame.
