With each application submitted for approval pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 49-762.03, the applicant must remit an initial fee in accordance with the tables below. ADEQ does not review a Solid Waste Facility Plan until the appropriate fee is received from the applicant.
Pursuant to Laws 2010, Seventh Special Session, Ch. 7, § 5, for Fiscal Year 2011, the Solid Waste Facility Plan review fees are increased. The initial fees below apply to all Solid Waste Facility Plan review applications or modifications received from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
The maximum fees apply to Solid Waste Facility Plan review services rendered from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.

Billing
An hourly rate of $127.49 applies to solid waste facility plan review services rendered from July 1, 2010 though June 30, 2011. This hourly billing rate applies to all direct labor hours spent working on the review of a plan. In addition, ADEQ will bill for other reasonable direct cost that are incurred but not included in the hourly billing rate, including, but not limited to, any laboratory analysis charges, public notice advertising, and public hearing costs.
ADEQ will issue a final itemized bill after the approval or disapproval of an application. If the cost of reviewing the plan is less than the initial fee, the difference will be returned to the applicant. If the cost exceeds the initial fee, the applicant must reimburse ADEQ for the difference, up to the maximum fee.
