In May 2005, ADEQ assigned case managers to help expedite investigation and cleanups of known LUST sites where corrective actions are incomplete (open sites) in cities and towns along the remaining sections of Route 66. To date, over 80% of the known LUST sites have been closed (corrective actions complete or not necessary).
