The reports available below are a reengineering and repackaging of the information and data related to specific exceptional events that occurred in 2008 and are intended to provide additional information to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to clarify the nature of the events. The reports respond to comments from the U.S. EPA Region IX, in the May 21, 2010, finding that the exceedances did not qualify for treatment under 40 CFR 51.14 as exceptional events. These documents were available for a formal 30 - day comment period during September 2010. Comments received will be submitted to the U.S. EPA, in compliance with the requirements of 40 CFR 50.14(c)(3)(iv).
