On Feb. 3, 2004, Arizona adopted revisions to Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R18-2-702, "General Provisions," Arizona's general opacity rule affecting existing, stationary sources of particulate matter air pollution. These revisions were submitted to EPA for approval. On Aug. 24, 2004, EPA approved the revisions (69 FR 51952).

• Adopted Arizona State Implementation Plan revision which includes:
  • A.A.C. R18-2-702, "General Provisions," Notice of Final Rulemaking (Attachment 6)
  • A.A.C. R18-2-101(41,111), existing definitions adopted into the Arizona State Implementation Plan (Attachment 4)
