How to Use the Search
Specify criteria in one or more fields below and then click the Search button. Clicking the Search button, without specifying any search criteria, will return the entire listing.
Utilize the "^" (caret) character, accessed by hitting SHIFT 6 on your keyboard, to narrow your search to records that begin with a particular string. For example, using ^ACME will only return records that begin with the string "ACME". On the other hand, simply specifying ACME (without the caret) will return records that contain "ACME" anywhere within the string.
National Response Center
The National Response Center (NRC) online query system includes all oil and chemical spill non-Privacy Act data reported to the Center since 1990. This system provides full query capabilities based on spiller, location, material involved, etc., and can be customized for each request. Follow these steps:
- Go to the National Response Center Query/Download NRC Data
site.
- Click on "Standard Report."
- Check the boxes next to the fields you would like to use for your search.
- Enter your search criteria in the fields.
- Click "Submit Query."
- Please be patient. Some searches may take several minutes.
