Forecast Discussion:

High pressure will move overhead today (Friday), resulting in the lightest winds of the period for Douglas. Nevertheless, the weather pattern will return to an active mode later Saturday, and remain so through at least Tuesday. Low-pressure disturbances and waves in the region will result in a mild cooling trend, as well as support breezy afternoons. Right now, Monday and Tuesday are looking to be the windiest days, with winds forecast out of the west and up to 20+ mph, along with higher gusts.

In regards to PM10 (dust), jumps in PM10 will be possible from the winds, particularly Monday and Tuesday. Moreover, in the mornings, PM10 could be elevated from local activity. Overall though, PM10 remain in the Good AQI category each day this week.
